Închirieri ATV Bușteni – Vila Aluniș

The climb follows the forestry road that starts behind the villa and cuts through beech woods up to 1180 metres. The gradient is steady and the track is wide, with no technical sections, which leaves time to get used to the machine before the first tight bends. This is the trail people pick when they have never driven an ATV before, or when they are riding with children over seven in the back seat. In summer the forest gives shade almost the whole way; in spring, when the leaves are still young, the light coming through the beeches is why most photo stops happen on the first half of the climb.

The trail continues past the treeline, where the slope opens into pasture and the track follows the line of the ridge. At 1360 metres the whole Bucegi massif is laid out from one end to the other: the Caraiman wall, the Heroes' Cross on its summit and, on a clear day, the transmitter tower on Costila. The Prahova Valley sits below, with all of Bușteni in view. The last stretch runs along a narrow dirt track on the ridge itself, with views opening on both sides at once — the Baiu slopes on one hand, the Bucegi on the other.

The longest tour climbs close to the main Baiu ridge at 1800 metres, crossing every layer of the mountain on the way: forest, a river ford, working sheepfolds and finally the open pasture at the top. At Zamora sheepfold you can stop for a traditional meal, paid separately and directly to the shepherds. From the top, the ridge unfolds northwards in waves of pasture, with the Bucegi filling the entire western side. Back at the villa, an hour per person in the pool and jacuzzi is included in the price.
