No money is collected through ATVero. There is no card required, no deposit and no booking fee. You pay directly at the ATV centre, on the day of the tour, using the methods it accepts. This means a cancellation costs you nothing — there is nothing to recover, because nothing was paid.
Each partner centre sets its own cancellation window, shown on the centre page under Schedule and cancellation. Cancelling within that window is always free and needs no justification.
Cancellations and changes are made directly with the centre you booked, by phone or using the contact details you received on confirmation. ATVero cannot cancel on the centre's behalf, as it is not a party to the contract between you and the centre. If you cannot reach the centre, write to us and we will help you get in touch.
We charge no financial penalty. We do ask you to notify the centre even when cancelling late: a booked and unused ATV means a slot refused to someone else, and small centres work with limited fleets. A centre may ask for phone confirmation on future bookings from customers who repeatedly fail to show up without notice.
Tours depart as a group, at the set time. If you are late, the centre may shorten the route, move you to a later slot subject to availability, or, if no alternative exists, treat the booking as not honoured. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your booked time.
Tours run in wet weather too — it is part of the experience, and protective gear is provided. If weather or trail conditions make the tour unsafe, the centre may reschedule or cancel it. In that case you bear no cost. The decision belongs to the guide and is made purely for safety reasons.
A centre may cancel a booking for safety reasons, vehicle faults or unforeseen situations. You will be notified as early as possible and offered a new slot. You bear no cost.
The guide may refuse participation to anyone who: arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs; does not present a valid driving licence, when driving the vehicle themselves; refuses protective equipment or safety instructions; does not meet the age requirements shown on the centre page. In these cases the booking is treated as not honoured through the participant's fault. No amount is charged, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
If you booked through GetYourGuide, Viator or another platform, that platform's cancellation policy applies and may differ from the one shown on ATVero. The terms you accepted at payment are the ones that count.
If a dispute arises with a partner centre, write to us through the Contact page. ATVero is not a party to the contract, but it mediates and may suspend from the platform centres that do not honour their stated policies. For alternative dispute resolution you can use the ANPC SAL platform, linked in the site footer.
