About Închirieri ATV Sinaia
The centre operates on Strada Schiorilor, a few minutes from the middle of Sinaia, and covers every classic destination in the area: the forest roads on the edge of town, Stâna Regală, Cota 1400, the ridges of the Baiului mountains and, for a full day out, Lake Bolboci and Ialomița Cave.
The fleet consists of CFMoto 520L and 450L quad bikes, both with power steering — a difference you feel after the first hour of climbing, especially if you have never ridden before. For groups there are four- and six-seater buggies, so a family or a group of friends can ride together instead of splitting across several vehicles.
Every ride is guided. The price covers the helmet, goggles and gloves, the balaclava, the fuel and the guide.

A wide forest road with a gentle gradient, on the edge of the Sinaia woods. No technical sections — the route to pick if you have never ridden an ATV or are bringing children as passengers. The four- and six-seater buggies make it the whole way, so a family can travel in a single vehicle.
The natural continuation of the forest road, over a longer stretch through dense beech woods. Steady riding, without steep climbs. If you want a full hour in the saddle without facing technical ground, this is the one.
A sustained climb through the forest up to Stâna Regală, where the view opens over the Prahova Valley. The first patches of gravel and exposed roots appear here — nothing difficult, but they ask for attention. The power steering helps on the climbing section.
The classic climb up to Cota 1400, with a panorama over the resort and the Bucegi massif. Mostly gravel road, with a few tight hairpins towards the end. The route with the best return on effort.
Combines the relaxed ride along Calea Codrului with the climb up to Stâna Regală. The first half is easy going, the second asks for some focus. A good compromise if your group includes people without experience.
You climb through the forest to Stâna Regală, then carry on along the panoramic section up to Cota 1400. Almost two hours in which the landscape changes completely three times.
The full route of the area: forest, sheepfold, panorama, in a single ride. Two and a half hours without covering the same ground twice. If you have one day in Sinaia and want to see everything, this is it.
You cross the valley and climb into the Baiului mountains, on the slope opposite the Bucegi. Long ascents, exposed ridge roads, a continuous panorama over the Prahova Valley. Not a route for a first outing on a quad bike — it takes experience on rough ground. In winter, the route runs only if snow conditions and visibility allow; confirmation is given on the day of the booking.
The longest ride on offer. You climb from Sinaia along Calea Codrului up to Cota 1500, cross Șaua Dichiu, descend to Lake Bolboci and finish at Ialomița Cave. Almost five hours in the heart of the Bucegi mountains, with photo stops at every point. Departures are in the morning. In winter, the route runs only if snow conditions and visibility allow; confirmation is given on the day of the booking.

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes. The driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid category B licence. You will be asked for ID when you pick up the vehicle. Passengers do not need a licence.
What is the minimum age for children?
▾
On a quad bike, children can ride as passengers from the age of 7. In the buggies there is no age limit — children of any age can come along, accompanied by an adult who drives.
Can I come if I have never ridden an ATV?
▾
Yes. The Forest Road and Calea Codrului routes are meant exactly for that, and the quad bikes have power steering, which takes a lot of the effort out of the climbs. The guide explains everything you need to know before you set off.
How many people fit in one vehicle?

A quad bike seats two. The buggies come with four and six seats, so a larger group can ride together instead of splitting up.
What does the price include?

The helmet, goggles, gloves and a reusable balaclava, along with the guide and the fuel. Rain gear is provided free on request. The price shown is per vehicle, not per person.
Do you run in winter?

Yes, winter is a busy season and the snow routes are among the most spectacular. Dress warmly — the wind bites harder on a quad bike than it does on the ground.
How long is the longest ride?
▾
The route to Lake Bolboci and Ialomița Cave takes between four and a half and five hours. Because of its length, departures are no later than 2 PM.
How far in advance should I book?
▾
The earlier the better, especially for the buggies, which are limited in number. The Lake Bolboci route should be booked a day ahead.
